Kreamer Sportsmen Association offers facilities for the shooting of rifles, pistols, shotguns, and archery, to our membership, with emphasis on safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship. We also try to do what we can to provide better hunting and fishing conditions, and the conservation of wildlife.

Due to the relative inactivity of the existing sportsmen’s clubs in this area, about 1959, Mr. Cyril Boyer suggested to some of the area sportsmen that they organize their own club. Ray A. Yerger was approached by Mr. Boyer and some of the other men and asked to get the organization started. Mr. Yerger contacted about a dozen area sportsmen and set up a meeting at the Kreamer Fire Hall on August 24, 1959. Eight men attended the first meeting. The first president Ray A. Yerger, and the first secretary Robert Hauck Sr., were elected at this meeting. The sum of one dollar was decided on for dues each year.
