Hunter-Trapper Education Courses

A large part of what we do as an organization is education, especially geared towards youth. One of the many events we host is the PA Game Commission's Hunter-Trapper Education Course. This is a multi-day training class for any person who is required to complete the mandatory Hunter-Trapper Education training program before purchasing their first hunting or furtaking license.
This course is available two separate ways:
- A traditional 3-day course where you will learn the material from the instructors, take the test, and get certified. You must attend all 3 days. This class includes outdoor training, so dress appropriately.
- An online, independent study program - You still must attend a 2-3 hour class to be tested and certified. To prepare for this class you must study the entire course content on
your own by clicking on the below link. The independent study part of your training will require about 8-10 hours to complete.
NOTICE TO PARENTS: Independent study is more difficult. Younger students should consider attending a traditional, multiple-day class.
Note: You must be at least 11 years old to register for this class! Both course styles require you to pre-register. The traditional course and Independent Study testing are both done at the Kreamer Sportsmen's Club. Click on one of the links below to register for the class listed.
